The proxy sites mailed out from Peacefire.org can be used to access Facebook from a censored Internet connection.
We have verified that you can do the following on Facebook with the proxies that we send out:
The only thing that is not currently possible is sending a Facebook message to another user, or writing on their wall. This fails because these functions use JavaScript that the proxy scripts that doesn't get rewritten by the proxies.
(This limitation applies to both proxies based on CGIProxy 2.1beta15 from James Marshall, and based on PHProxy from WhiteFyre. Since these are the major proxy scripts in use on the Internet, you will probably run into the same problem using any other proxy site, not just the ones we mail out.)
